Dr Tokunbo David Gbadebo, MD, FACC, FHRS

Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist

Dr. Gbadebo is a distinguished physician, scientist, cardiologist, electrophysiologist,
innovator, inventor, and key opinion leader in cardiovascular medicine. He discovered a novel predictive parameter for torsades de pointes and established the strongest evidence validating the paradox of lower rates of atrial fibrillation among Black patients. He also described a maneuver involving alternative cardiac pacing locations that provided new insight into pacing strategies for ischemic heart failure.

In collaboration with other innovators, Dr. Gbadebo helped develop a wearable
transdermal ECG garment for ischemia detection and a transdermal sensor device
designed to identify targeted disease biomarkers.

Board certified in cardiology, he has been in clinical practice since 2001.
